Note: If you are an incoming freshman who has asked the School of Engineering to buy a TransIT computer for you, you will receive that computer during a computer orientation session on Monday, August 18 (a week before classes start). The cost of that computer will be added to your Vanderbilt student account. All members of the School of Engineering community may take advantage of a special offer to purchase a Dell Latitude notebook computer. This computer features the same hardware configuration and much of the same software as the School's TransIT computers for freshmen. This offer also includes the same warranty and replacement coverage as the TransIT computer at the same volume-discounted price paid by the School.
This offer does not include the locally customized software installation found on the actual TransIT computers or access to the TransIT service center for on-site warranty repairs.
